Eliza Hull is an award-winning musician, writer and disability advocate. She is a proud disabled person, with a physical condition ‘Charcot Marie Tooth.’ She is the creator and editor of ‘We’ve Got This – Essays By Disabled Parents’ which features disabled parents from across the world. Her writing features in ‘Growing Up Disabled in Australia’ and ‘Teacher, Teacher’ an anthology about inspirational educators.
She has co-written a children’s book, ‘Come Over To My House’ which authentically portrays families with disability. ‘Come Over To My House’ was recently a CBCA Notable Book, as well as Shortlisted for the Panda Book Awards and the Speech Pathology Australia 2023 Book of the Year Awards. She is a regular writer for the ABC and co-wrote the children’s TV show ‘And Then Something Changed’ for ABC Kids about a child with disability. She was recently the recipient of the National Leadership Award presented by Australia Council and Arts Access Australia. Eliza lives with her husband and two kids in Castlemaine, Australia.
