She takes her characters on a unique journey of scandal and seduction through the historically rural setting of Queensland, Australia. Faye was born and raised in the sugarcane farming areas of North Queensland, Australia. She tries to incorporate the tales of local history, and the struggles and adventures of her own family, into each of her stories. Faye lives in North Queensland with her husband and 5 of their 9 children.
