Michael J Kerwood was born in Northfield, 8 miles south of Birmingham, England in 1943, where he underwent a CofE and Secondary Modern education. He started his working career at the age of fourteen as an ‘improver’ in his father’s carpentry and joinery business. He progressed over the coming years aspiring to many higher positions in shopfitting, barfitting and bankfitting. Over the years, during ‘burnout’ periods, Michael ‘rested’ within other professions, including managing public houses, chauffeuring many high profile celebrities, and running his own craft workshop. He moved to Australia with his wife, Irene, in 2004 on a retirement visa, and now lives in Narangba, Queensland, where he has written three adult murder/mystery/suspense novels, The books are on Kindle & in paperback format, and are in a series to be read in order – ‘Typecast by Booker Woodman’ ‘Re-cast’ and ‘Cast-off’.
