Chestnut Lane

by Anna Jacobs

When novelist Sophie Carr finds pop star Jez Winter hiding in her garden from a group of paparazzi, she hides him in her house. She’s loved his music for years and knows what a tough time he’s had lately.
Life’s not been easy for Sophie, either, losing her husband and having difficulties with her daughter Andi, who is heavily into recreational drugs since her father’s death.
Sophie has another secret which makes her wary of getting involved with Jez, but when he buys the house next door, she can’t avoid him. Nor does she want to, because attraction keeps flaring between them, and in spite of his two failed marriages, she somehow trusts him.
But his son and grandchildren are in trouble, and there is one journalist who holds a grudge against Jez. Can the two of them overcome these problems or will life tear them apart?
