Dr Dawn Barker is a psychiatrist and author. She grew up in Scotland, and studied Medicine at Aberdeen University. In 2001 she moved to Australia, completed her psychiatric training and began writing. FRACTURED, first published in 2013 by Hachette Australia, was Dawn’s first novel. lt was selected for the Hachette/Queensland Writers Centre’s manuscript development programme, and went on to be shortlisted for the WA Premier’s Literary Awards. LET HER GO was Dawn’s second novel, and she is currently working on her third. Dawn lives in Perth, Western Australia with her husband and three young children.
