Emily Gale

Emily’s writing includes Eliza Boom’s Diary (2014), a duology for readers of 6+ about a determined young inventor, which has been published in several languages. For 10s and over she has written The Other Side of Summer (2016) and Elsewhere Girls (2021).

Her novels for teenagers are I Am Out With Lanterns (2018) (which can also be read as a companion to The Other Side of Summer), Girl, Aloud (2009), and Steal My Sunshine (2013). She was born and grew up in London and currently lives in Melbourne, Australia.
