Robert Gott Bio

Robert Gott was born in 1957 in the Queensland town of Maryborough and later settled in Melbourne. Over the course of his career, he has published almost 100 books, with the vast majority being educational books for primary school children. He also created the long-running newspaper cartoon The Adventures of Naked Man. Although his work spans a large range of genres, Gott is best known for his acclaimed crime novels set in 1940s Australia. These novels feature richly drawn characters, authentic historical details and compelling mysteries.
